To celebrate Hurdle Turtle's 3rd birthday and the upcoming release of Hurdle Turtle 2, it is with great pleasure that we announce "Hurdle Turtle: Celebrations!" This 2nd companion to the original Hurdle Turtle can also be enjoyed as a standalone title.  Take Hurdle Turtle through a gauntlet of holiday themed levels and keep challenging your own hiscores until the sequel arrives this fall!

"Hurdle Turtle: Celebrations!" will be available on September 1st, 2013 exclusively on Xbox Live Indie Games!

Hurdle Turtle iOS Free for 24 Hours!

Hey everyone!

The iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad version of our game Hurdle Turtle is free today on OpenFeint's Free Game of the Day! We're trying to make the top 50 in the App Store and we're getting real close.. so to anybody out there with an iOS device, please download and support your favorite Indie developer 

(ahem.. us!)  It won't cost you a penny, and we promise you won't hate it!

With 11 unlockable characters, 3 tracks and the insanely groovy chiptune soundtrack by Octapus, it should easily be worth the free download! Did we mention it's free? ;D

Hurdle Turtle iOS Free For A Day Contest Update

As you probably know, last weekend we held a Free For a Day Contest for Hurdle Turtle iOS.  There was an awesome Prize Pack up for grabs if the game reached the top 50 free apps during the promotion.  Although we didn't quite reach this goal, we came pretty darn close.  It became obvious to us that we have some of the best fans in the world.  To thank you all for helping spread the word, we'll still be giving away a smaller prize to one lucky random fan - we'll save the full Prize Pack for the next contest, so stay tuned for that.. you still have a chance to claim it!

Pirate Turtle Wins The 2P Slot In The New Level Pack!

Polls are closed and the results are in... Pirate Turtle is the next 2nd Player character for the new Xbox 360 Hurdle Turtle level pack! Now to code the little guy in there.

Our personal choice would've been Derple - that guy is a champ - but hey, we gotta bow to the judgement of the fans. :)

The level pack itself is about 90% complete, so it should be released very soon.

New Level Pack - Vote For Your Favorite Turtle!

We've mentioned this on our Twitter account before, but now we'd like to officially announce the existence of Hurdle Turtle - Level Pack # 1, which is on it's way very soon for the Xbox 360!  The game will contain 3 all new levels and a soundtrack composed by Octapus, the genius responsible for the awesome chiptunes in the original!

The level pack will be released as a standalone product, so that it can be enjoyed by itself, or as a companion to the first game.

In addition, we'll be replacing the 2nd player character (previously Girdle Turtle) with another character from the extensive roster of the iPhone version, to give someone else a chance to shine in full HD glory!  And guess what?  We're letting you, the fans, choose who it's gonna be!

We've got a host of brand new features for you in this MASSIVE update!

- Ten brand new turtles to choose from - for a total of 11 unlockable characters!!
- Three beautiful 8-bit levels!
